Privacy policy
Lead Tide is an AI receptionist service for trades businesses. This page explains what data we handle, why, and who can see it. It covers this website and the service itself.
This website
The site is static. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs for security.
The calculator page runs in your browser. Numbers you type are not sent anywhere.
If you email hello@leadtidehq.com or book a call, we keep that message and your contact details so we can reply and set up your account.
The service: calls we answer for a client
When an HVAC company (our client) forwards its after-hours calls to Lead Tide, the AI answers on the client's behalf. Every call opens with a statement that the caller is speaking with an AI and that the call may be recorded.
Calls are recorded and transcribed. That is how the service works: the recording and transcript are what let us send the client an accurate summary and let the client check what was said. During a call the AI asks for the caller's name, callback number, service address, a description of the problem, whether the caller owns or rents, and the best time to call back.
That information is used only to run the service for the client whose number was called. It is passed to that client, by email summary and by live transfer in an emergency. It is not used for any other business, it is not used to train AI models for anyone else, and it is never sold.
Callers who do not want to be recorded can hang up before giving any details. Callers who want their details removed can ask the HVAC company they called, or email us at the address below.
Who processes the data
To answer calls, we use telephony and speech providers that carry the audio and produce the transcript, and an email provider that delivers the summary. Each of them handles the data only to provide their part of the service.
How long we keep it
Recordings and transcripts are kept while the client's account is active so the client can review them. When a client cancels, their call data is deleted within 30 days unless they ask for an export first.
Security
Call data is stored with access limited to Lead Tide and the client the data belongs to. Access is over encrypted connections.
Contact
Contact is by email. Questions, corrections, or deletion requests: hello@leadtidehq.com
